This is my first blog entry. I feel like congratulating myself, but I should really hold out until I’ve got a few posts under my belt.
I guess that means I should introduce myself. I’m Chan Verbeck. I’m liable to write about three of my interests: management of software development teams and programming, family history and genealogy, and sports, more specifically soccer. We’ll have to see how things go, and whether things peter out or not. There are lots of topics I’m interested in discussing in each of these areas: MLS playoffs, dealing (or not) with ambiguity in old public records, and what I think of Scrum in larger projects. I’m as likely to just track my progress and thinking as I am to offer clear opinions. I’ll do my best to let you know which topics are included in each post.
